What is a Heat Pump?

Heat Pumps simply transfer free heat (not air) from one place to another, just like your fridge does.  No heat is made; it is just transferred inside in winter, outside in summer, using a refrigerant process.

That's a major advantage over electric or gas heaters - as Heat Pumps have no heating elements.

Even on a cold winter's day, the free heat from the outside air is extracted, and then distributed through your home.
